Instituto Anjos do Sertão
The Instituto Anjos do Sertão (IAS) is a dedicated non profit organization rooted in Canto do Buriti, in the heart of Piauí’s southern region, Brazil. With a deep respect for the natural beauty and wisdom of the Caatinga biome, IAS is driven by a vision to protect and uplift this unique ecosystem while empowering the people who call it home.
At the core of their mission is a belief that meaningful change begins with honoring the earth, its people, and the interconnectedness of life. IAS envisions a future where the way we grow, share, and consume food reflects a deep respect for nature, creating a positive impact not just for the environment but for the communities that thrive within it.
Through innovation and entrepreneurship, IAS fosters regenerative territorial development by giving voice to local communities. They bring people together to co create sustainable solutions, with the aim of restoring the Caatinga’s vitality and ensuring a future where nature and human potential can flourish side by side.
In every project, IAS champions collaboration, collective thinking, and a shared purpose—to nurture a world where people and the planet are in harmony, and where the wisdom of the land inspires new ways of living, working, and thriving.
