IUCN

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is a global organization dedicated to nature conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. Founded in 1948, it brings together governments, NGOs, scientists, and experts to address environmental challenges. The IUCN is known for its “Red List of Threatened Species,” which assesses the conservation status of species worldwide. It plays a crucial role in advocating for policies, developing conservation projects, and fostering international cooperation to protect biodiversity and promote sustainable development.
