“I was asked to tell you what science means to me. It means curiosity, discovery, opening my horizon. And science can also mean coming closer to understanding what is happening within and around us. In times of instability, failing systems and fake news, science is a beautiful method to calm my mind and explore the wonders of nature.  

My role in this? I am an includer, I like to see a diverse bunch of people around the table. Connecting experts, communities, ideas, exchanging resources and knowledge. I am convinced that only with a diversity of minds and backgrounds we can work on diverse systems such as polyculture. If we want to create holistic, biodiverse systems we can only do that starting with our own teams and knowledge.”
