Growing up in Sudan I witnessed and experienced firsthand the strong connection between people’s livelihoods and agriculture. In addition to my background in architecture and the surrounding built environment led me to discover my passion for creating productive and liveable urban landscapes. I was motivated to explore the positive relations in urbanism to sustainably productive agricultural nodes.

After more than 5+ years of experience as an architect in the MENA region, I transitioned my career to focus on future generational problems – food security being one of them. I worked on case studies in the African region collecting key data and closely analyzing the spatial planning, governance systems, and existing realities often hindering agricultural rural development directly from the field.

Being part of reNature enables me to transform this knowledge into action with an international team sharing a similar passion to bring regenerative agriculture to the forefront. We strive to make it happen!
