Viveiro Anauá

Viveiro Anauá is a tree nursery in Caravelas, Brazil. After 15 years of successfully adopting sustainable growing practices and applying a truly green commercial model, the nursery now plans to expand whilst upscaling regenerative agroforestry. It focusses on promoting the use of productive native tree species to counteract the ongoing trend of deforestation of Brazil’s Atlantic forest.

Local partners involved are Suzano and its Rural Territorial Development Program (PDRT), Voz da Natureza Brasil, and Justiça Ambiental Moçambique.
