FFA & Nestlé UNFSS Dialogue

The Forum for the Future of Agriculture and Nestlé are organizing a United Nations Food Systems Summit Independent Dialogue on Mainstreaming Regenerative Agriculture. The event will take place online on Wednesday, June 30, from 14:30-17:00 CET. There will be up to 70 participants involved in the event ranging from farmers and farming organisations, policymakers, members of the agri-food sector, academics, think tanks and Youth representatives.

The breakout groups should identify barriers and challenges that hinder progress, determine how to overcome the barriers and challenges, and lastly, provide concrete solutions that enable the success of Food Systems Summit Action Track 3: Boosting Nature Positive Production. From the definition and alignment of key principles, to farmers engagement, policy and governance implication, and the need to monitor the benefits and centralise results in order to drive continuous improvement, we look forward to a broad stakeholder participation and fruitful discussion.

Felipe Villela, reNature’s Founder & CCO, will be participating in Breakout group 3: How can the food value chain support the adoption and scaling of regenerative agriculture? Mainstreaming regenerative agriculture and facilitating the adoption and scaling of nature positive practices will require support from all stakeholders of our food system and therefore, Breakout Group 3 will be dedicated to exploring the role of the food value chain.

While this is a closed and private event, it will be recorded and made publicly available afterward.
