Ecofarms

Ecofarms is is a model of livestock management focused on sustainability, animal welfare, and meat quality. Their farm is in Prata, Brazil and has the Rainforest Alliance Certified Sustainability Seal. Ecofarms participates in the Neutral Livestock Project, a project that seeks to neutralize the greenhouse gases emitted by cattle. More than 40% of their ranch is covered by native forest, and in partnership with the  Neutral Livestock project every year they plant eucalyptus with pasture on part of the property, seeking to neutralize enteric methane emitted by cattle.
