Webinars on climate change, biodiversity, and Nature-based Solutions

IUCN NL, VU, and reNature are organizing webinars to provide action-oriented perspectives on climate change, biodiversity, and Nature-based Solutions, highlighting specific examples from existing SDGP projects.

The webinars aim to enhance knowledge among stakeholders involved in SDG-Partnership projects on critical climate-related topics impacting the agricultural sector. Organized by IUCN NL, reNature and VU Amsterdam in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the sessions focus on inclusive agro-ecological practices for women and youth, the potential of carbon and biodiversity credits, the development of an M&E framework to measure the impact of climate change interventions and examples of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for agriculture and forestry.

These topics address the challenges of climate change by promoting sustainable practices that improve soil health, biodiversity, and farmer resilience, empower women and youth in agriculture, and ensure effective monitoring and prioritization of climate adaptation efforts.
